The Story Begins
Don Hobbs and Greg Herder first met in the waning years of the 1970s. At the time, Don was president of a motivational seminar company while Greg was busy building a successful real estate career in Southern California. And while they came from vastly different backgrounds, both men were profoundly driven to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

A Revolutionary Idea
On a fly-fishing trip to a remote Montana stream, the two men discussed the emerging opportunities that existed in real estate. Together, they developed a revolutionary idea of creating a brand identity for individual Realtors that would change real estate marketing forever. In 1986, Don and Greg blended their innovative marketing principles with Janet Herder’s keen business savvy and managerial experience to create Hobbs/Herder Advertising—and they’ve never looked back.
